“WE MAKE RELOCATING EASY”
How it works
At NZTS, we have established strong partnerships with various shipping container suppliers, allowing us to offer our customers an excellent relocation solution. When you choose our services, you lease the container through NZTS for a minimum of one month hireage. Our arrangement with the container suppliers ensures that the containers are returned to their depots after the relocation is complete.
To ensure a smooth and stress-free moving experience, we recommend having your container delivered a couple of weeks in advance. This gives you ample time to start loading your belongings at your own pace before the scheduled transportation date. We understand that time is money, and by having enough preparation time, you can save on transportation costs and reduce the stress associated with hurried loading.
Our truck drivers have busy schedules, and excessive on-site time can lead to job cancellations as per our terms and conditions. To avoid any inconvenience, we advise you to plan your loading process carefully. Order your container for delivery and then coordinate with us to confirm a specific day and time when your container will be fully loaded and ready for collection. This way, we can ensure that the truck will be available as needed.
While our professional movers can handle the loading for you, enlisting the help of friends or family can be a cost-saving option. If you opt for our expert moving services, we recommend checking out our house moving tips on the link provided below. These valuable tips, along with avoiding common moving mistakes, can help you save a significant amount of money in the long run.
At NZTS, we strive to provide a professional and relatable moving experience, ensuring your belongings reach their destination safely and efficiently. Whether you choose to enlist the help of loved ones or rely on our skilled team, we are committed to making your relocation journey a successful one.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT TRUCKS DO HAVE LEGS/ARMS THAT STICK OUT THE SIDE AS PICTURED WHICH HELP COUNTER BALANCE THE TRUCK AND KEEP IT STABLE WHILE A LOAD IS BEING UPLIFTED OR PLACED. YOU will need extra room for the truck to be able to get its legs out.

To facilitate a smooth and efficient process, it is essential to undertake the following site preparation measures:
- Vegetation Clearance
- Safety Checks: Confirm that there are no low-hanging powerlines, phone cables, or telephone lines that could interfere with the carrier’s operation.
- Access Measurement: Measure the drive, entrance, or gateway to ensure that the truck, crane, or machinery can easily access the site for the collection or delivery of your goods.
- Safety of Individuals and Animals: Prioritize safety by ensuring that there are no individuals, civilians, or animals on the site who may be at risk while the truck is in operation.
- Dry Ground Conditions
- Sufficient Space: Confirm that there is adequate space not only for the carrier to enter the site but also to exit safely. This may involve providing good turning circles if required or a clear path for the truck to drive or reverse in & out.
- No Obstruction from Other Parties: Ensure that there are no road workers, other contractors, or carriers present on the site, as this may cause delays and unnecessary waiting time for the carrier.
As per the NZTS terms and conditions, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their site is accessible and prepared for collection or delivery before the carrier’s arrival.
